AC Milan's Robinho: I regret how I left Real Madrid for Manchester City

The Brazilian admitted that he did not leave the Santiago Bernabeu on the best of terms, although he insisted it was the correct decision to leave the Spanish capital.

AC Milan striker Robinho has admitted that he regrets the circumstances in which he left Real Madrid.

The Brazil international departed Spain for Premier League side Manchester City back in August 2008. However, Robinho also stressed that it was the right decision to leave the Spanish capital, where he never felt truly wanted, particularly once Madrid began their pursuit of then Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I have two regrets in my career: how I left Real Madrid and how I left Santos. I don't regret that I left but the way everything was," he told Brazilian newspaper Folha. "At Santos, things could have taken a different course but not in Madrid. But it is all over now. Everything serves to add to your experience."

Robinho also gave his views on Neymar, who has been heavily linked to a move to Madrid.

"I am now 27 and Neymar is 19," he explained. "I try to give him advice, both on and off the field.

"European football is different and much stronger than Brazilian football. He does not need much advice. He is a born footballer."

Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record for the most league goals scored in one season (40 in 2010–11). Di Stéfano's 49 goals in 58 matches was for decades the all-time highest tally in the European Cup, until it was surpassed by Raúl in 2005. The fastest goal in the history of the club (15 seconds) was scored by Brazilian Ronaldo on 3 December 2003 during a league match against Atlético Madrid.

That Zidane's record had been ephemerally broken previously in June 2009, when Real Madrid had agreed to buy Kaká from AC Milan for a fee that was, for a few days, the first one to exceed the Zizou's transfer in pounds sterling. The club's record sale came on 1 September 2008, when they sold Robinho to Manchester City for €42 million (£32.5 million).

Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero: I cannot tell Lionel Messi where I am playing next year

Kun revealed that his friend and international team mate has been asking him constantly about the future, but that he doesn't know where he will be in August.

Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero has refused to speculate on whether he will move away from the Colchoneros in the summer transfer window, revealing that he cannot even tell Argentina teammate and close friend Lionel Messi where he will be playing in 2011-12.

Messi and Aguero have grown up together in the Argentina youth system, playing on the same side at various age levels before becoming teammates in the full national team. The pair are currently in Buenos Aires with the rest of Sergio Batista's Copa America squad, preparing the tournament due to be held in July on home soil.

Questioned today on leaving an Albiceleste training session, Aguero affirmed that not even the Barcelona superstar knew if he would be transferred in the close-season, as nothing had been decided.

"Lio always asks me: 'What team are you going to, what team are you going to? You'll tell me first, right?' I tell him that right now I don't know anything, and when I do he will be the first to find out," the 22-year-old explained to reporters on Friday afternoon.

Aguero moved on to praise his La Liga rival, saying that there was no better player currently in world football.

"For me Lio is the best in the world and he will always be, I say that to everyone. Playing alongside him in the Seleccion makes me very happy, as it would for any player," he affirmed.

"Despite being rivals in the Spanish league, we get on very well and we are great friends."

'El Kun' has become the subject of strong transfer rumors since the La Liga season ended, with many reports linking him to Atletico's archrivals Real Madrid. The player has mentioned previously that he would like to leave his current employers, but that any decision would have to wait until after the Copa America has finished.

Real Madrids Muset Ozil : our no 10 shirt is waiting for Sergio Aguero

The German international has claimed Madrid will make Sergio Aguero its new No. 10 if he seals a move from its city rivals

Real Madrid playmaker Mesul Ozil has fuelled speculation that Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero could be set to join Jose Mourinho's men, by stating the No.10 shirt is being reserved for the Argentine international.

Aguero looks set to depart Atletico this summer, with several of Europe's big clubs interested in the striker.

Madrid appears to be in the driving seat for the player, after Aguero declared he would prefer to stay in Spain. Atletico's arch-rivals would be in a position to meet the 45 million euros buyout clause necessary to take 'El Kun' away from his team of five years.

Ozil, who enjoyed an impressive debut season at the Bernabeu, has declared that the club will give the No.10 shirt to Aguero if he signs this summer.

"Madrid have reserved the number 10 shirt for Aguero," the German international told Saz Aktuell.

The Real Madrid man's comments have cast further doubt over Lassana Diarra's future in the Spanish capital. The former Portsmouth midfielder and current occupant of the No. 10 shirt  is linked with a summer move to Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Juventus.

Aguero enjoyed a profilic season for Atletico, scoring a total of 27 goals in 41 appearances for the La Liga outfit.
